About
Ashlie is a NASM-certified personal trainer and wellness coach based in the UK. Like many PTs, she entered the world of traditional fitness where deadlifts and bicep curls were bread and butter. Despite being the ideal picture of ‘health’ (lean physique, good diet and a diverse training schedule including running, lifting and callisthenics), she experienced constant niggles. Pain, recurring injuries and poor posture became her reality.
Yearning for a more holistic approach to fitness that not only addressed the root cause of her dysfunction but also provided a long-term solution, Ashlie discovered Anatomy Trains. Through this alternative approach to anatomy, she gained a deep knowledge of the fascia system and its whole-body interconnectedness. Finally, she was able to ‘untwist’ her dysfunctional posture, move functionally and unlock a pain-free body.
These are the core principles she brings to her work. Her mission is to empower individuals by dismantling the outdated fitness culture obsessed with isolation training systems and replacing it with a focus on holistic health and long-term wellness. Through a combination of fascia release, respiratory optimisation and movement biomechanics, Ashlie aims to guide people to full-body freedom.
